These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of DreamFlip on iOS and Android. By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. What DreamFlip is
DreamFlip is an entertainment and self-reflection tool that uses AI to rewrite nightmare descriptions into short humorous, comforting, or heroic stories inspired by Imagery Rehearsal Therapy (IRT) concepts. It is not medical advice, psychotherapy, crisis care, or a substitute for professional help.
2. Eligibility
You must be old enough to use the app stores and AI services under the laws of your country (generally 13+ / 16+ depending on region). If you are under the age of majority, you need a parent/guardian’s permission.
3. Your content
- You retain rights to the dream text you write.
- You grant us a limited license to process that text solely to operate DreamFlip (including sending it to AI providers to generate rewrites).
- You are responsible for what you submit. Do not submit illegal, harmful, or others’ confidential information.
4. AI-generated output
- Stories are generated automatically and may be inaccurate, unexpected, or imperfect.
- Output is for personal, non-commercial use unless we agree otherwise in writing.
- If a rewrite upsets you, stop using the feature and seek appropriate support resources in your area.
5. Tokens & ads
- Flip actions may consume in-app Flip Tokens.
- You may earn tokens by watching rewarded ads (when available).
- Token balances are stored on device unless cloud sync is introduced later.
- We may change token economics, ad availability, or limits to protect the service.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Abuse, reverse engineer, or overload the service.
- Use DreamFlip to generate illegal or harmful content.
- Attempt to bypass ads, token limits, or security controls.
- Misrepresent the app as clinical treatment.
7. Third-party services
DreamFlip relies on third parties such as Google Firebase, AI processing providers, and Google AdMob. Their terms and privacy policies also apply to their processing.
8. Disclaimers
THE APP IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.
9. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DreamFlip and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, profits, or goodwill, arising from your use of the app or AI outputs.
10. Termination
You may stop using DreamFlip at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend or discontinue access if you violate these Terms or if we shut down the service.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
